Midland Surveying, Inc. Selected as Highly Qualified by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District; Contract Negotiations Set to Begin
Midland Surveying, Inc. was recently selected as one the most highly qualified firms to begin contract negotiations by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha District, for a five (5) year, indefinite delivery contract to provide nationwide mapping and surveying services. Teaming with Midland Surveying to complete various anticipated Task Orders for this contract are Merrick & Company of Greenwood Village, CO; Premier Geospatial, Inc. of Arvada, CO; Hanson Professional Services, Inc. of Maryland Heights, MO, David Evans & Associates, Inc. of Vancouver, WA and Riverfront Environmental Safety and Health of St. Louis, MO.
Midland Surveying, Inc. previously held this contract with the USACE, Omaha District, awarded in September 2008. Since then, Midland Surveying and its subcontractors have been awarded 32 Task Orders throughout the Continental United States, requiring boundary and topographic surveys, LiDAR, digital aerial imagery, bathymetric and hydrographic surveys and mapping services.
Upon successful contract negotiations, Troy Hayes, PLS, will serve as Project Manager, having overseen two (2) separate contracts for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District in the past five (5) years, along with multiple projects for the USACE, Kansas City District, Seattle District and various other federal and state agencies. Troy is President of Midland Surveying and currently serves as the Missouri Governor for the National Society of Professional Land Surveyors (NSPS).
Midland Surveying, Inc. will be responsible for project management on all Task Orders issued for this contract, and will also provide ground-based surveying, including boundary and topographic surveys, and CADD services.
